Sunspot AR2738 was 3 times the diameter of Earth, it was an unexpected feature on the Sun’s surface, because Sun is at it’s “solar minimum” at present, which normally is associated with absence of any active regions on the surface.

Celstron C8 OTA @ F10; FOTON/Baader full aperture solar filter; Canon EOS550D , video approx .1200 frames stacked in Registax, processed on Photoshop. Further enchancement in Snapseed (Android app) produced intensified granulation of Sun’s photosphere.
